SICURA

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Effective Date: September 23, 2026
Last Updated: September 24, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sicura's website, online account, package-forwarding services, package consolidation services, shipping services, delivery services, protection services, membership services, and related logistics services (collectively, the "Services").

By creating a Sicura account, using a Sicura address, sending a package to Sicura, requesting transportation, purchasing a Sicura service, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

1. ABOUT SICURA

Sicura is a logistics and package-forwarding company that provides customers with a U.S. receiving address and facilitates the transportation of customer merchandise from the United States to Guatemala.

Sicura may receive packages on behalf of customers, identify and process those packages, consolidate eligible shipments, arrange transportation, and coordinate delivery or pickup in Guatemala.

Sicura does not operate aircraft and may use third-party carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, delivery companies, warehouses, and other service providers to provide the Services.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Sicura's Services.

You may not use Sicura's Services if:

  • You are under the applicable legal age to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction without appropriate authorization;
  • You are prohibited from using the Services under applicable law;
  • You provide false or misleading information;
  • You attempt to use Sicura to transport prohibited or unlawful merchandise; or
  • Sicura has previously terminated your account for fraud, abuse, security violations, or other material violations of these Terms.

Sicura may request additional information to verify your identity or account.

3. YOUR SICURA ACCOUNT

Customers must provide accurate and current information.

This may include:

  • Full legal name;
  • Email address;
  • Telephone number;
  • Billing information;
  • Delivery address;
  • Government-issued identification where legally required;
  • Other information reasonably necessary to provide the Services.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You are responsible for activity occurring through your account unless you promptly notify Sicura of unauthorized access.

You must not:

  • Create an account using another person's identity;
  • Allow another person to use your account for unauthorized purposes;
  • Provide false identification;
  • Attempt to circumvent Sicura's security procedures;
  • Use multiple accounts to evade restrictions; or
  • Use Sicura to facilitate fraud.

4. YOUR SICURA U.S. ADDRESS

After creating an account, Sicura may provide you with a unique U.S. receiving address and customer identification number.

The address is provided solely for receiving merchandise in connection with Sicura's Services.

Your Sicura address does not make you a resident of the United States and does not provide you with a U.S. domicile, mailing address for governmental purposes, or proof of physical residence.

You must use the address exactly as instructed by Sicura.

Your Sicura customer identification number must be included whenever required.

Example

Correct:

First name, last name
13701 Riverside Dr
Ste 509, SIC123456
Sherman Oaks, CA 91423

Incorrect or incomplete address information may cause delays, misidentification, additional handling, or rejection of a shipment.

5. HOW THE SERVICE WORKS

The standard process is:

  1. Customer creates a Sicura account.
  2. Sicura provides a U.S. receiving address.
  3. Customer purchases merchandise from a third-party retailer.
  4. Retailer ships merchandise to the customer's Sicura address.
  5. Sicura receives the package.
  6. Sicura identifies the package and associates it with the customer's account.
  7. Sicura records applicable shipment information.
  8. Customer selects an applicable shipping service and purchases one mandatory package protection plan.
  9. Sicura consolidates eligible shipments when applicable.
  10. Sicura arranges transportation.
  11. Shipment is transported to Guatemala.
  12. Shipment undergoes applicable customs/import procedures.
  13. Customer receives the shipment through pickup or delivery.

Delivery times are estimates unless Sicura expressly provides a written guaranteed service commitment.

6. THIRD-PARTY RETAILERS

Sicura is not the retailer from which you purchase merchandise unless the transaction expressly states otherwise.

Sicura is not responsible for:

  • Product quality;
  • Product authenticity;
  • Retailer fulfillment;
  • Retailer cancellations;
  • Retailer refunds;
  • Retailer warranties;
  • Retailer return policies;
  • Retailer pricing;
  • Retailer payment processing;
  • Retailer shipping delays before delivery to Sicura.

If a retailer sends you the wrong item, a defective item, or an item you no longer want, you are generally responsible for resolving the issue with the retailer.

Sicura may assist with a return where the service is available, but assistance with a return is not guaranteed unless specifically purchased or included in the applicable service.

7. PACKAGE RECEIPT

When a package arrives at a Sicura facility, Sicura may:

  • Record the package;
  • Record the carrier tracking number;
  • Record weight and dimensions;
  • Photograph the package;
  • Inspect external packaging;
  • Associate the package with a customer account;
  • Notify the customer;
  • Hold the package for processing;
  • Consolidate the package with other eligible packages.

Sicura may open a package when reasonably necessary for:

  • Identification;
  • Security screening;
  • Customs compliance;
  • Prohibited-item verification;
  • Consolidation;
  • Repacking;
  • Damage assessment;
  • Carrier requirements;
  • Legal or regulatory requirements.

Where practicable, Sicura will handle packages in a manner designed to minimize unnecessary damage.

8. PACKAGE IDENTIFICATION

Customers are responsible for using the correct Sicura name and customer identification number.

If Sicura cannot reasonably identify the intended customer, the shipment may be placed on hold.

The customer may be required to provide:

  • Order confirmation;
  • Retailer invoice;
  • Tracking number;
  • Proof of payment;
  • Identification;
  • Other information reasonably necessary to establish ownership.

9. SHIPPING RATES

Sicura's published shipping rates for eligible merchandise are:

Standard Shipping: $9.99 per pound, with a minimum billable weight of 4 pounds per box.

Express Shipping: $20 per pound.

These shipping rates include ordinary customs clearance and applicable import duties and taxes for eligible merchandise shipped from the United States to Guatemala. Mandatory package protection is charged separately based on the customer's selected plan and declared merchandise value. Home delivery, where applicable, is priced separately and starts at $5 unless the selected service expressly includes it.

Unless otherwise stated, Sicura may calculate charges using actual weight or dimensional weight, whichever applies under the selected transportation service. A minimum billable weight may apply. Applicable shipping rates, mandatory protection charges, and any disclosed additional service charges will be shown before payment. Rates may change prospectively and will not retroactively alter a paid shipping charge unless required by law or expressly agreed by the customer.

10. DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT

For packages that occupy substantial space relative to their actual weight, Sicura or its transportation provider may charge based on dimensional weight.

The applicable dimensional-weight formula may depend on the carrier and transportation method.

Sicura will disclose the applicable calculation method or provide an estimated charge before payment when reasonably practicable.

11. CONSOLIDATION

Sicura may consolidate multiple eligible packages belonging to the same customer.

Example:

Package A: 2 lbs

Package B: 3 lbs

Package C: 1 lb

Total:

6 lbs

Sicura may consolidate the packages into a single shipment.

Consolidation may reduce shipping complexity and may improve transportation efficiency.

Sicura does not guarantee that every package can be consolidated.

Packages may be separated because of:

  • Size;
  • Weight;
  • Commodity restrictions;
  • Customs requirements;
  • Carrier requirements;
  • Security requirements;
  • Destination;
  • Transportation schedule;
  • Other operational considerations.

12. SHIPPING PAYMENT

Shipping charges and the mandatory package protection fee must be paid before Sicura releases a shipment for transportation, unless Sicura expressly approves another arrangement. If payment is not received, Sicura may hold the shipment. Additional costs resulting from customer-caused delays may be charged where permitted by law and disclosed to the customer.

13. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, TAXES AND IMPORT CHARGES

Sicura's confirmed Standard and Express shipping rates include ordinary customs clearance and applicable import duties and taxes for eligible merchandise transported from the United States to Guatemala. Sicura coordinates customs clearance and arranges payment of included duties and taxes through authorized customs brokers and logistics partners. Customers will not be charged separately for ordinary customs duties or taxes already included in their confirmed shipping price.

Additional charges may apply to merchandise requiring special permits, extraordinary inspections, specialized handling, or to charges caused by inaccurate or incomplete customer documentation. Sicura will disclose applicable additional charges and obtain the customer's authorization before proceeding, except where immediate action is legally required.

Government authorities retain final authority over customs classification, valuation, admissibility, and assessments. Sicura cannot guarantee clearance of prohibited or restricted merchandise. This all-inclusive policy applies to eligible shipments and does not override any mandatory legal obligations of the importer or customer.

14. CUSTOMS DECLARATIONS

Sicura will coordinate preparation and submission of applicable customs documentation through its authorized service providers. Customers must provide truthful, complete, and accurate invoices, merchandise descriptions, quantities, purchase values, and other documentation reasonably required for customs clearance.

Customers must not understate merchandise value, misidentify merchandise, submit false descriptions, split shipments to evade legal requirements, or ask Sicura to falsify customs documentation. Sicura may hold or refuse a shipment when documentation is inaccurate, incomplete, suspicious, or inconsistent with applicable customs requirements.

15. PROHIBITED ITEMS

Sicura may refuse to accept, process, transport, or deliver merchandise that is prohibited by law, regulation, carrier policy, customs requirements, or Sicura policy.

Examples may include certain:

  • Weapons;
  • Explosives;
  • Illegal drugs;
  • Hazardous materials;
  • Flammable materials;
  • Counterfeit goods;
  • Stolen property;
  • Certain batteries;
  • Certain chemicals;
  • Perishable goods;
  • Live animals;
  • Currency;
  • Government documents;
  • Items requiring specialized permits;
  • Other restricted commodities.

The prohibited-item list may change.

Customers must review Sicura's current prohibited and restricted-item policy before shipping merchandise.

16. SUSPICIOUS OR QUESTIONABLE SHIPMENTS

Sicura may place a shipment on hold if it reasonably suspects:

  • Fraud;
  • Theft;
  • Misrepresentation;
  • Prohibited merchandise;
  • Security concerns;
  • Customs violations;
  • Identity fraud;
  • Sanctions violations;
  • Unauthorized account activity.

Sicura may request documentation or information before continuing to process the shipment.

Sicura may refuse service or notify appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.

17. SHIPPING DELAYS

International transportation may be delayed by:

  • Weather;
  • Airline schedules;
  • Customs;
  • Government inspections;
  • Security requirements;
  • Transportation disruptions;
  • Natural disasters;
  • Labor disruptions;
  • Incorrect customer information;
  • Retailer delays;
  • Carrier delays;
  • Force majeure events.

Sicura does not guarantee a delivery date unless the applicable service expressly provides a guaranteed delivery commitment.

18. PACKAGE STORAGE

Sicura may provide a limited period of storage at no additional charge.

Packages may be stored for up to:

30 days after notification of receipt.

After the free storage period, Sicura may charge a reasonable storage fee disclosed to the customer.

If a package remains unclaimed for an extended period, Sicura may take further action as permitted by applicable law, including returning the package, disposing of it, or treating it as abandoned where legally permitted.

Sicura will provide any legally required notices before disposing of or otherwise exercising rights over abandoned property.

19. PACKAGE PROTECTION

Package protection is mandatory for every shipment transported through Sicura. Before a shipment is released for transportation, the customer must select and purchase one of the following protection plans:

Silver Protection — Cost: 10% of eligible declared value; maximum protection: 70% of eligible declared value.

Gold Protection — Cost: 15% of eligible declared value; maximum protection: 80% of eligible declared value.

Platinum Protection — Cost: 20% of eligible declared value; maximum protection: 100% of eligible declared value.

The protection fee is separate from the shipping rate. Protection is subject to the Package Protection Terms incorporated into these Terms, including eligibility, exclusions, limits, claim requirements, and applicable law. Purchasing protection does not guarantee approval or full payment of any claim.

20. MANDATORY PACKAGE PROTECTION

Customers must select and pay for a package protection plan before Sicura releases their shipment for transportation. Customers cannot decline or waive this requirement. If the customer does not select and purchase a plan, Sicura may hold the shipment until the requirement is satisfied. Protection does not eliminate any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

21. DECLARED VALUE

The customer must provide a truthful declared value when purchasing protection.

The declared value should correspond to the actual purchase price of the eligible merchandise, excluding amounts that Sicura expressly instructs customers to exclude.

Sicura may request:

  • Retailer receipt;
  • Order confirmation;
  • Payment confirmation;
  • Product listing;
  • Other evidence of value.

Sicura may deny or adjust a protection claim if the customer materially misrepresented the value.

22. PROTECTION EXCLUSIONS

Unless expressly stated otherwise, protection does not cover losses caused by:

  • Fraud;
  • Intentional misconduct;
  • Illegal merchandise;
  • Prohibited merchandise;
  • False declarations;
  • Undeclared merchandise;
  • Incorrect customer information;
  • Customer-requested abandonment;
  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Manufacturing defects;
  • Product defects unrelated to transportation;
  • Retailer errors;
  • Customer dissatisfaction;
  • Market-value changes;
  • Lost profits;
  • Business interruption;
  • Consequential or indirect losses.

Additional exclusions may apply to specific commodities.

23. CLAIM PROCEDURE

A customer who believes a protected package has been lost or damaged must submit a claim through the Sicura claim process.

Claims must be submitted within:

7 calendar days of delivery or pickup for visible damage, and

30 calendar days after the expected delivery date for non-delivery/loss claims.

Sicura may modify these periods when required by applicable law or the transportation provider's mandatory claim rules.

A claim should include:

  • Customer name;
  • Sicura account number;
  • Shipment number;
  • Tracking number;
  • Description of the issue;
  • Purchase receipt;
  • Proof of value;
  • Photographs of packaging;
  • Photographs of damaged merchandise;
  • Other documentation reasonably requested by Sicura.

24. DAMAGE CLAIM PROCEDURE

For visible damage, the customer should:

  1. Photograph the exterior packaging before opening it.
  2. Photograph shipping labels.
  3. Photograph all visible damage.
  4. Open the package carefully.
  5. Photograph the internal packaging.
  6. Photograph the damaged merchandise.
  7. Preserve the packaging and merchandise.
  8. Submit the claim through Sicura.

Customers should not discard damaged packaging before Sicura has had a reasonable opportunity to investigate the claim.

25. LOST PACKAGE CLAIM

If a package cannot be located, Sicura may investigate:

  • Sicura receiving records;
  • Carrier tracking;
  • Warehouse records;
  • Consolidation records;
  • Transportation records;
  • Delivery records.

Sicura may require the customer to provide proof of purchase and value.

A claim is not automatically approved merely because a package cannot initially be located.

26. PROTECTION PAYMENT

If a claim is approved, the maximum payment will be determined according to the protection level purchased and the eligible value established under the Protection Terms.

Example:

Customer purchases an item for:

$200

Customer purchases Silver Protection:

10% × $200 = $20

Maximum coverage:

70% × $200 = $140

If the claim qualifies for the maximum protection amount, the maximum payment would be:

$140

27. ONE HUNDRED PERCENT PROTECTION EXAMPLE

Customer purchases:

$500 laptop

Platinum Protection:

20% × $500 = $100

Maximum eligible protection:

$500

If the claim qualifies and all requirements are satisfied, the maximum protection payment may be:

$500

This does not guarantee payment of $500 for every claim.

The loss must be covered under the applicable Protection Terms.

28. FRAUDULENT CLAIMS

Sicura may deny claims involving:

  • False documents;
  • Altered receipts;
  • False declarations;
  • Fraudulent photographs;
  • Misrepresentation;
  • Repeated suspicious claims;
  • Staged damage;
  • Theft by the customer or an associated person.

Sicura may suspend or terminate an account where permitted by law.

Sicura may refer suspected fraudulent conduct to appropriate authorities.

29. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sicura will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the Services, including loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Any limitation of liability must be interpreted subject to mandatory applicable law.

30. SERVICE LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sicura's liability for a shipment will be limited to the amount required under applicable law, the applicable transportation agreement, or the amount expressly provided under a purchased protection plan, whichever applicable legal framework governs the claim.

Nothing in these Terms eliminates rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

31. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

Sicura may use third parties to provide portions of the Services.

These may include:

  • Warehouses;
  • Freight forwarders;
  • Airlines;
  • Ground transportation providers;
  • Customs brokers;
  • Delivery companies;
  • Payment processors;
  • Technology providers;
  • Customer-support providers.

Sicura remains responsible for its contractual obligations to customers as required by applicable law, but third-party services may be subject to their own terms and operational limitations.

32. PAYMENT PROCESSING

Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors.

Sicura may not directly receive or store complete payment-card information when the payment processor handles that information.

Customers authorize Sicura and its payment providers to process applicable charges associated with purchased Services.

33. REFUNDS

Shipping charges are generally non-refundable once transportation has begun, except where:

  • Sicura expressly provides a refund;
  • the applicable service was not provided;
  • required by law;
  • the customer is otherwise entitled to a refund under the applicable service terms.

Mandatory protection fees are generally non-refundable after the protected shipment enters the transportation process unless otherwise required by law.

34. MEMBERSHIP — SICURA+

If offered, Sicura+ is a subscription service.

The applicable monthly fee will be disclosed before enrollment.

The customer authorizes recurring charges according to the subscription terms.

The customer may cancel future renewals through the account-management process or other cancellation method provided by Sicura.

Cancellation will not ordinarily result in a refund for a partially completed billing period unless required by law or expressly provided by Sicura.

Sicura will disclose material subscription terms, including price and renewal terms, before enrollment.

35. CHANGES TO PRICES

Sicura may change its prices prospectively.

Changes will not retroactively change a completed transaction.

For recurring subscriptions, Sicura will provide legally required notice of material price changes.

36. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Sicura name, logo, website, software, design, text, graphics, and other Sicura content are owned by or licensed to Sicura and may not be copied, modified, distributed, or commercially exploited without authorization.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Sicura intellectual property to the customer.

37. CUSTOMER CONTENT

Customers may submit information, photographs, reviews, or other content to Sicura.

Customers retain ownership of content they submit except for rights expressly granted to Sicura.

Customers grant Sicura a non-exclusive license to use submitted content as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, operate the platform, provide customer support, investigate claims, and comply with legal requirements.

Sicura will not use this provision to prohibit or penalize a customer's honest review of Sicura.

38. REVIEWS

Customers are free to provide honest reviews and opinions about Sicura.

Nothing in these Terms prohibits or penalizes a customer for providing an honest review.

The FTC's Consumer Review Fairness Act prohibits contract terms that restrict or penalize consumers for honest reviews of a company's products, services, or conduct.

39. PRIVACY

Sicura's collection and use of personal information is governed by its Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains:

  • Information collected;
  • How information is used;
  • How information is shared;
  • Service providers;
  • Security practices;
  • Retention;
  • Consumer rights;
  • Available privacy requests.

If Sicura is subject to California privacy laws, Sicura will provide the notices and mechanisms required by applicable California law.

California's CCPA provides covered consumers with rights including access, deletion, correction, and certain opt-out rights, subject to statutory exceptions.

40. SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE

Sicura may maintain security procedures required by applicable transportation, customs, aviation, and other laws and regulations.

Customers agree to provide accurate information reasonably required for security, customs, transportation, identity verification, or fraud prevention.

Sicura may delay, inspect, hold, refuse, or report a shipment when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, security requirements, carrier requirements, or governmental requests.

41. GOVERNMENT REQUESTS

Sicura may disclose customer or shipment information when required by:

  • Law;
  • Court order;
  • Subpoena;
  • Government request;
  • Customs authority;
  • Law-enforcement authority;
  • TSA;
  • Other authorized governmental authority.

Sicura may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect its customers, employees, property, systems, or legal rights, subject to applicable law.

42. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

Sicura may suspend or terminate an account when reasonably necessary because of:

  • Fraud;
  • Payment fraud;
  • Prohibited merchandise;
  • False information;
  • Abuse of employees;
  • Security violations;
  • Repeated violations of these Terms;
  • Illegal activity;
  • Unpaid balances;
  • Other material violations.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, Sicura may provide notice before termination.

Termination does not eliminate obligations that accrued before termination.

43. FORCE MAJEURE

Sicura will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside its reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters;
  • War;
  • Terrorism;
  • Government action;
  • Customs closures;
  • Transportation disruptions;
  • Labor disruptions;
  • Cyberattacks;
  • Infrastructure failures;
  • Severe weather;
  • Epidemics or pandemics;
  • Airline cancellations;
  • Other extraordinary events.

This provision does not eliminate rights that cannot legally be waived.

44. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

The parties should attempt to resolve disputes through customer support before initiating formal proceedings.

Customer submits a written complaint to:

support@sicurashipping.com

Sicura will review the complaint and attempt to resolve it.

For disputes that cannot be resolved informally, Sicura may require binding arbitration to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from pursuing a claim in a court or agency when applicable law gives the consumer a non-waivable right to do so.

45. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms will be governed by the laws of:

The state of California

except to the extent federal law or mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

46. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

47. NO WAIVER

A failure by Sicura to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive Sicura's right to enforce that provision later.

48. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with:

  • Sicura's Privacy Policy;
  • Package Protection Terms;
  • applicable pricing;
  • applicable service-specific terms;
  • applicable membership terms;

constitute the agreement between the customer and Sicura concerning the Services.

49. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Sicura may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.

The updated Terms will identify their effective date.

Continued use of the Services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

50. CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT

Before completing a transaction, the customer may be required to acknowledge:

I have read and agree to Sicura's Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and applicable Package Protection Terms.

I understand that package protection is mandatory for all Sicura shipments. I have selected a protection plan and understand its cost, maximum coverage, exclusions, and claim requirements.

I understand that ordinary customs clearance, duties, and taxes for eligible merchandise are included in my confirmed Standard or Express shipping rate. I understand that mandatory package protection and any disclosed additional services or exceptional charges are billed separately.

For subscription enrollment: I understand the recurring subscription price, renewal terms, cancellation method, and applicable Sicura+ benefits.
